Mrs. Courtney Majerski, Principal

As the principal of Manteno Elementary School, I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to you and your children as we begin another academic school year.  We have a dedicated school community and are committed to providing opportunities in a supportive environment that encourages students to thrive academically and socially.

In Manteno, we believe in the power of collaboration between the school and families to ensure the success and well-being of our students.  Collaboration starts with open communication.  Each week a school newsletter will be sent out through ParentSquare, teachers will communicate through either email or a weekly newsletter, and we have important information on our school website.  Please also follow our school on Facebook for reminders and updates on what is happening in the school.

Parents, your involvement and engagement are invaluable to us and we feel your support!  Whether it is volunteering in the classroom or at lunch duty, reading with your child each night, or helping your child study spelling words, the support is noticed and appreciated. If you are looking for more ways to get involved, I encourage you to become a part of the PTO.  This group of parents works hard to provide fun experiences for kids, while also supporting students and teachers in the classroom.     

Again, our dedicated staff is committed to creating a positive and enriching learning experience for all students. I’m excited for all the knowledge students will learn and the fun activities they will experience this school year!  Opportunities Await!
