PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT STARTING 2018/19 SCHOOL YEAR: OCTOBER 15TH, 2018 WILL BE THE LAST DAY TO TURN IN SCHOOL PHYSICALS AND IMMUNIZATIONS FROM PRE-K, KINDERGARTEN, 6TH AND 9TH GRADERS. THERE WILL NOT BE ANY EXTENSIONS OFFERED AND STUDENTS WILL BE EXCLUDED UNTIL THEIR PHYSICALS AND IMMUNIZATIONS ARE UP TO DATE AND TURNED IN.

Manteno Athletic Physicals

The Manteno School District does not host Athletic Physicals.

Numerous athletic physical clinics are offered throughout Kankakee County, including urgent and immediate care centers.

HIGH SCHOOL - 99.9% COMPLIANT WITH IMMUNIZATIONS AND PHYSICALS

‚ÄčVision and Hearing Screenings

Vision and Hearing screenings will commence October 1st, 2018 for students in the following grades:

Vision Screenings mandate per IDPH and ISBE: Pre-K, K, 2, 8 and all children with IEP's in the district

Hearing Screenings
mandate per IDPH and ISBE: Pre-K, K, 1, 2, 3 and all children with IEP's in the district

If the parent/guardian does not want their student screened please put in writing and send to your student's nurse. (This serves as notice per IDPH request.)
Attention Parents of Kindergarten, 2nd and 6th Graders!

Dental exams are required for K, 2 and 6th graders

This is a reminder that all students in grades Kindergarten, 2nd and 6th grades will need to submit a dental exam by
May 15th, 2019.

Please make appointments now as the wait is up to 3 months for basic exam appointments.

Reminders will be sent out in January to all students who still need a dental exam.
